hangtime does not collect your data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no ads, and no trackers. The app has no server of its own.

Your hangs

Your hang history, personal bests, and streaks are stored on your device. They never leave it through us.

The camera

hangtime uses the camera to detect your body position so the timer can start and stop itself. All processing happens on the device using Apple's Vision framework.

Clips

Each hang is saved as a video clip on your phone so you can watch and share it. Clips stay on your device. They are never uploaded and we cannot see them. Sharing a clip sends it directly from your phone to the app you choose. Deleting a clip removes it for good.

Game Center

Leaderboards and challenges run through Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, your scores and Game Center display name are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. If you are not signed in, the app still works and nothing is shared.

Challenge links

When you share a challenge, the time and the name you chose are placed in the link itself. Nothing is uploaded. Whoever you send it to sees exactly what is in the link and nothing more.
