The timer will not start

Prop the phone up so your whole body is in frame, including your feet. The timer starts when your hands are above your shoulders and your feet leave the floor. If the camera cannot see you well, tap the dial to time the hang manually. Tap again to stop.

I am not on the leaderboard

Leaderboards use Game Center. Sign in on your phone under Settings, then Game Center, and your hangs will start counting.

A challenge link did not open the app

Make sure hangtime is installed first. Then tap the link again, or open the app and try the link from Messages.
